We were honored to sponsor two drive-through food pantries this year at Kohl Farms alongside the volunteers of the Elkton Lions Club and the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan.

Together, nearly 20 volunteers distributed 36,000 pounds of groceries to 525 families across 3 counties - a powerful reminder of what can be accomplished when we come together to serve others.

Thank you to Kohl Farms, Amanda Kohl, and Kurt Damrow for helping make these events possible, and a special congratulations to Kurt on his 325th coordinated food pantry!

The Agent Charitable Fund at Farm Bureau has one mission: to end childhood hunger in Michigan. We are grateful to be a part of a program that both feeds our youth and educates them on where their food comes from - connecting the dots between their plate and our agriculture driven communities!

While many contractors are reputable, some “storm chasers” use high-pressure tactics, inflated estimates, or request large upfront payments — and may disappear before completing the work.

Stay safe, stay informed, and please share this information with your friends, family, and neighbors to avoid fraud. We’ve seen this in the past right here in our unionville-sebewaing neighborhoods!

High winds and strong storms are expected to make their way through our area over the next several hours. If you are able to, take precautions to help protect your home, farm, vehicles, and business from potential damage.
- secure outdoor furniture and grills
- move vehicles indoors or away from trees if possible
-check sump pumps and clear storm drains
And most importantly, stay safe!

If damage does occur, document with photos when it is safe to do so, and we will work diligently with you to guide you through our claims process.

It’s time to SPRING up for HUNGER!
We are excited and proud to be teaming up with Tuscola County Farm Bureau for our second annual food drive. Last year, our clients contributed over 150LBS of food to this special cause!

🍎 If you can, please consider donating any items to help those who are struggling. No donation is too small - together, we can make a big impact! The food drive lasts throughout the month of April.

🍊The donations that come to our Farm Bureau offices stay within our local communities. Let’s make sure none of our neighbors go hungry!

We’re looking for a customer service representative to answer phone calls and emails, assist walk ins, and assess and service client needs. Our ideal candidate is someone who has a positive attitude, clear communication skills, is highly motivated, and has the ability to serve our customers with empathy and care!
