Today, our office will be closing early as we celebrate Linda Gildehaus’s last day with American Family and the beginning of her retirement!

Linda has been a part of this office for 11 years in total, 8 years with the previous agent, Carol Rathgeber Stieffermann, and the last 3 years with me. She has been an incredible part of this team and was a huge help during my transition as a new agent. More than that, she has always been the friendly face greeting everyone who walks through our doors.

We are so thankful for everything Linda has done over the years and wish her the happiest, most well-deserved retirement!

❄️ Heads up, Missouri, a major winter storm is on the way. ❄️
We could see up to a foot of snow and ice, so a little prep now can prevent big problems later.

Quick reminders to protect your home:
🧊 Drip hot & cold faucets on exterior walls
🧊 Open cabinets to let warm air reach pipes
🧊 Keep heat set consistently (at least 55°F)
🧊 Keep garage doors closed if water lines run through them

If the power goes out:
⚠️ Stay clear of downed power lines
⚠️ Use flashlights instead of candles
⚠️ Avoid opening the fridge/freezer unnecessarily
⚠️ Never use grills or generators indoors
⚠️ Make sure your carbon monoxide detector is working
