Cayuga Lake National Bank team members spent yesterday afternoon building a ramp for a Sempronius homeowner with mobility issues.
The volunteer effort was to support ARISE - Exceptional Family Resources. The organization partners with people with disabilities to advance independence and remove barriers, through advocacy and services - so that every person has the freedom to pursue the life they choose.
Team CLNB supports this mission by volunteering to help build ramps. Last year, the team assisted Scott Pecoy, Housing Advocate and Ramp Coordinator with ARISE/EFR, in building his 500th ramp.
The first ramp project CLNB volunteered on was in October 2024. It was for a man who was born with cerebral palsy. He was in a motorized wheelchair and his ramp was broken. Unfortunately, he had even fallen off of it.
Since then, CLNB has participated in multiple ramp builds and plans to do more!
