📣 ATTENTION SSI RECIPIENTS (March 2020–April 2023)

You may have received a Notice of Overpayment from Social Security for your SSI benefits — but here’s some GOOD NEWS! 🙌🏽

A class action lawsuit settlement (Campos v. Kijakazi) means: ✅ Some overpayments will be AUTOMATICALLY FORGIVEN — no action needed
✅ Refunds may be issued if you already paid SSA back
✅ You may still request a waiver if your case doesn’t qualify for the automatic one

🗓️ Applies to SSI Overpayments from March 2020 through April 2023

💡 HOW TO KNOW IF YOU QUALIFY:
Did you get a notice saying you were overpaid SSI between March 2020–Sept 2020?

Was the overpayment not your fault and not caused by fraud? 👉 Then SSA may waive it automatically and notify you — it could take up to a year.

🧾 If you want to request a waiver:
Call SSA: 1-800-772-1213 (If under $2,000)

Or fill out Form SSA-632-BK: ssa.gov/forms/ssa-632-bk.pdf
