United Southern Bank USB is a community bank with 12 branches across Lake and Sumter Counties. Since 1937, USB has been “the bank that cares." through Facebook.

United Southern Bank (USB) was chartered in 1937 as Umatilla State Bank in downtown Umatilla and the bank primarily served the residents and businesses in the Umatilla area. As Umatilla State Bank continued to grow and branch banking was approved, USB began to open branches beginning with the Lady Lake Office in 1977. As branching continued, the directors formed a one-bank holding company and changed the name to United Southern Bank, retaining the USB initials. Today, with eleven offices in the Lake County area and over 75 years of community banking, United Southern Bank still puts a premium on building strong customer relationships. The bank’s officers live here, some of them all their lives, and they know their customers and their businesses. Our customer family tells us they prefer doing business with a bank that is locally owned and managed. They like banking in an office where everyone really does know their name. We'd like to give a quick reminder to not share any personal confidential information on Facebook. United Southern Bank will never request personal confidential information (e.g. account numbers, social security numbers, passwords, etc.) If you need to get in touch with us regarding a confidential matter, call our Call Center at 352-669-2121 or e-mail us directly at [email protected]

Two amazing launches at our Eustis Office this morning! 🚀

First, the SpaceX launch left beautiful rings in the sky above our office. Then, we launched The Local Link, bringing local professionals together to network and learn.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and to our very first speaker, Nathan Gauger from Blue Heron CPAs. We're excited for next month's event!
