With thirty years of mortgage lending experience in several capacities, Chérie McKeage is adept at assisting a range of borrowers from first-time buyers to experienced investors, whether purchasing or refinancing. That level of experience and care is more important than ever before, and Chérie prides herself on looking after her clients and their friends and family to ensure they meet their financial goals. Many of her borrowers are referred to her by happy clients who want their friends and family to experience the same level of care they received. With a diverse career spanning both real estate and lending, Chérie possesses an intimate knowledge of both industries. She worked first as a Realtor for a brokerage and then for a developer on new home projects. After becoming the developer’s money manager responsible for arranging bulk mortgage commitments, a bank later hired her to grow their outside mortgage loan production. Chérie then became a residential mortgage loan originator herself. Thanks to her unique background, she is exceptionally well qualified to help fulfill the needs of homeowners, homebuyers, real estate agents and developers alike for their mutual long-term success. Chérie was raised on a small farm outside of Grand Rapids, MI and graduated from Duke University. In her free time, she enjoys creative cooking, gardening, Pilates and exercising, junking/antiquing, reading and wine tasting. She is involved with several chambers of commerce associations, networking groups and food depositories.
