It's Tuesday, so it's time for the Agent Spotlight of the week! This week, we're featuring co-owner Michael Lacine, who has been with Lighthouse Insurance Agency for over 14 years. Michael specializes in Commercial Lines and is our go-to person for questions about policy language, commercial quoting, and much more.

If you know the Lacines, you know that swimming is their thing, and Michael is no exception. During his time at EIU, he was a collegiate swimmer who broke multiple standing records. In his free time, you can still find Michael swimming in his pool with his family, golfing, hunting, or preparing for baby #2 on the way! We are blessed to have Michael as a co-owner of the agency and hope that he is a blessing to you all as well!

Tuesday is Agent Spotlight day! This week, we're featuring co-owner Jon Lacine, who has been with Lighthouse Insurance Agency for over 18 years. Jon specializes in Personal, Commercial and Life insurance as well as holding a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation, making him the go-to person for insurance-related questions and advice.

Outside of work, Jon is busy with his involvement in his kids’ activities, coaching soccer, basketball and swim teams to name a few. Jon loves the outdoors and when he has time he enjoys hunting, fishing and mushroom hunting. Despite having three kids, a wife, and various other responsibilities, Jon excels in all his pursuits. We're fortunate to have Jon as a part of our team and hope that he is an asset to you all as well!

BEWARE OF INSURANCE FRAUD: If your agent is pushing you to use a specific contractor and says they will “absorb your deductible,” this is insurance fraud! Don’t get wrapped up in a fraud investigation.

In fact, although many companies may have a preferred contractor list for you to use, no company requires you to use them, and you are free to use the contractor of your choice.
