We took Scooter's Coffee to Zena Onstott of Sweet Petunia for National Women's Small Business Month. Zena has made this such a fun place to shop for antiques, collectibles and gifts and there are always new things to see. It's in Old Navy's old place at the mall next to VF - that will house part of the upcoming antiques show. Fun Fact: Zena's nephew Alex owns Tuscola's Scooter's location!

What are the chances that German-American Day would fall during Octoberfest? Ziemlich gut! (pretty good). It's also a nice sunny day to fenster putzen (clean the windows)! 3 of John's 4 grandparents were of German descent, with #4 being the very English 'Davis.' The Davis branch is 1/2 Irish (Murphy) and John has his wacky 2027 St. Patrick's Day shirt for 2027 ready to go!
