Alabama Finance Association The AFA is a professional development organization for finance majors and those who are interested in learning more about careers in financial services.

The Alabama Finance Association (AFA) promotes the interaction of the academic and business worlds by hosting professional development events that bring a diverse array of speakers to campus from around the country. Participation in the association helps students develop leadership skills, in addition to providing them opportunities to exchange ideas with leaders of the financial community. These

events are a great way for students to network with their peers and business professionals. Any students interested in finance are welcome to join. Meetings were typically held most Mondays at 7:00pm in Bidgood 340, but are conducted solely via Zoom until further notice. Please dress business casual, bring a resume, and be prepared to engage with the speaker!
