A question worth asking?
How much time does it take to remove a combine header?
How much time does it take to deal with a collision, insurance claims, damaged equipment, injuries, a lawsuit, or a funeral?
I have encountered several combines this season traveling down the road with headers attached, taking up the entire roadway and providing little warning to oncoming traffic. The few minutes saved aren’t worth the risk.
Please take the extra time to transport equipment safely. One bad decision can change lives forever.
Safety first. Harvest second. Let’s have a successful harvest and make sure everyone gets home safe.
