Throwback Thursday 😂🏠

This house still makes me laugh.

When we bought it, I could not wrap my head around why someone would paint an entire house THIS color.

I also couldn't imagine someone wanting to buy a house this color.

Turns out I was wrong. 😂

We sold it just like this.

One of the things I've learned over the years in real estate is that just because something isn't your taste doesn't mean someone else won't love it.

Transformation Tuesday 🏠

Sometimes it doesn't take a big budget to completely change the curb appeal of a house.

We didn't repaint this one. The paint color is exactly the same in both pictures.

We simply removed the old awning, replaced the porch posts, added wood shutters, and cleaned up the landscaping.

A few relatively inexpensive changes made the whole house feel different.

Sometimes the little details make the biggest difference.

While we're demoing and working on everything inside, we always like to give the exterior a little facelift.

It doesn't always take a lot for a big transformations. Fresh paint, a little landscaping and a few small details gives a great first impression.

Throwback Thursday! 🏠

This was our first traditional flip in the Tulsa area back in 2016. Before this, most of our remodeling experience came from houses we had lived in and renovated ourselves.

This was also our first full kitchen remodel, and looking back, we really didn't know what we were doing. 😂 Thankfully, we had a family member with experience who helped us figure a lot of it out along the way.

We did things a little differently back then too. We even used to stage our houses ourselves before putting them on the market.

It's fun looking back at this one and seeing how much has changed, both in renovation styles and in how we do things today.

We've definitely learned a few things since this one. 😂

Sometimes life changes and you'd simply rather keep the details private.

When we buy a house directly, there's no For Sale sign in the yard and no open houses. We can work with you privately and see if selling to us makes sense.

We need your help with another renovation! 🏠🎨

This house is getting exterior paint soon, and we’re trying to decide which direction to go.

A few people have told us not to paint the brick, especially since the natural gray brick fits the neighborhood. So now the question is, what color should we use for the wood and trim?

We mocked up a few options, including one painted-brick version just to see how it compares.

Which one would you choose?

A: Keep the brick + warm white
B: Keep the brick + greige
C: Keep the brick + black accents
D: Paint the brick

From design idea to finished bathroom 👀

Before starting this bathroom, we put together a design to help visualize how all of the selections would work together.

Then we went to work.

We stayed pretty close to the original plan, gray vanity, light flooring, brushed nickel fixtures and a clean, neutral look.

We’re finishing up a few projects… which means we’re looking for our next one. 🏠🔨

Not every house needs to be perfect. In fact, some of the houses we buy come with problems.

Repairs that have been put off.
Foundation issues.
An inherited house that needs work.
A rental that's become a headache.
Or simply a house the owner is ready to move on from.

Transformation Tuesday 🔨🏠

This West Tulsa kitchen is getting a BIG change.

We’re removing the wall between the kitchen and breakfast nook, opening up the space, and moving the sink so it will sit in front of the window instead of facing a wall.

Now we just have to make the rendering a reality. 👀
