A TITLE SEARCH UNCOVERED MORE THAN $160,000 IN LIENS.

When Green Country Home Buyers purchases or sells a property, we close through a professional title company. One important part of that process is a title search.

And twice in just the last few months, that title search uncovered some pretty significant surprises.

🏠 Property #1: More than $70,000 in medical liens that the seller didn't even know about.

🏠 Property #2: An additional mortgage lien of more than $90,000 that we had not been told about.

That's over $160,000 in liens uncovered between just two transactions.

This is exactly why we don't cut corners when buying houses.

Throwback Thursday!!!

This was a project from a few years ago. It had a weird addition on the back, which if you watch the video of the before you can see where the old slider and exterior window used to be.

The kitchen was so tiny and had a door to the garage. Moving the door to the living room gave us much needed storage and function.

Opening up the wall between the living room, dining room, & kitchen made the home so much more cohesive.

It's always fun to reflect back on old projects! Hope you enjoyed this "Throwback Thursday"
