As a business owner all kinds of things demand your attention. Making sure your employees are safe, and go home injury free, is at the top of that list.

Have we identified all the hazardous activities in the shop? What do we do about it if we have? Are our employees trained to the level they need for the job they are being asked to perform? Do we have enough fire extinguishers? What kind of PPE do we need and who pays for it? Is an aerial lift considered a scaffold? As an employer what kind of workplace must be provided for the employees?

These are just a few of the questions business owners face every day. The OSHA standards and regulations for both general industry and construction provides the answers but can be both intimidating and confusing. If you need help with reviewing or establishing training programs, hazard identification, incident investigation, or just the difference between a qualified person and a competent person call us at 918.388.6633.

In Oklahoma when it becomes June if not 30 days before things start to heat up and the air gets heavier with humidity. The bad news is summer hasn't even officially begun. Make sure you take care of you and your people so everyone can get home, to the people that really matter.

On a hot July day in upstate New York, Tim collapsed and later died from heat illness. It was only his second day of work. Together we can prevent heat illne...

An update on the great bee swarm of April 2022. After three visits all of the bees were rounded up and moved to a happy new home. There was a six-foot honeycomb pulled from an abandoned boarded up chimney on the second floor. The picture is just a portion of it.

A little excitement at the office never hurt anyone. At least not today! We have had a few thousand visitors or so. Nothing like walking out the front door into a swarm of bees. And then finding another group at the back of the building near the roof. We are happy to report no injuries and the bees are being removed to a better home.
