That’s not the same as being ready to close.

VA homebuyers — quick heads up 👀

If a lender tells you “we only charge the 1% VA fee,” that’s not a discount.

👉 1% is the VA maximum origination fee allowed.

Some lenders charge it.
Some don’t.

As a VA lender (and veteran myself), I believe you should know what’s optional vs. required so you can decide what’s best for your finances.

⚓️ Today we celebrate 250 years of the United States Navy!

Founded on October 13, 1775, the Navy has stood as a symbol of courage, discipline, and unwavering commitment to protecting our nation at sea and beyond.

As a Navy Veteran, this milestone is deeply personal for me. I’m proud to have worn the uniform, proud to have served alongside some of the best people I’ve ever known, and proud to carry that same integrity and dedication into everything I do today.
