As I'm looking through the Healthcare plans for this year, I'm stunned at the rates, and the amount of out of pocket expenses and what ISN'T covered. Make sure you're reading EVERYTHING! And now more than ever indemnity plans can help SO MUCH. Carrie just spent several days in the hospital, not working. She had to go on leave early, and couldn't do anything except heal. Hello everyone, here is my PSO for the day. We all understand that insurance is needed in certain scenarios, Home, Auto, Health.. And while I can assist in all of these, I want to mention Life insurance, and Paycheck insurance. You may have heard of the first, but what is the second? Both are necessary to help protect yourself and your loved ones from un-necessary financial stress, both can be used while you're still alive, and the indemnity plans unlike Life insurance in most cases, is NOT a one and done. My family and I have been greatly assisted with our indemnity plans, they paid US and helped us stay afloat during times of hardship due to injury. Like Life benefits this is paid to you TAX FREE, and does not have to be reported as income. If you were out of work due to an injury, how many days would it take to really start to affect your quality of life? While disability plans are amazing, and highly recommended, they usually have a waiting period of a week or more before they start to pay. And were you to die, how long before your spouse, or family felt the financial strain of the funeral, and expenses? Could they maintain their quality of life? If you left them a retirement plan ( which I hope you have), they would have 10 years to spend it, and it would count as taxable income, potentially adding to their strain.
