We had a wonderful time hosting a special Fall Wreath Making event with our incredible BuildHER group! 🍂

It was a great opportunity to connect, collaborate, and get creative while celebrating the season. Events like these remind us that building strong relationships is just as important as building great communities.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us, including our amazing team members from our sister companies. We appreciate each of you for making this event such a fun and memorable experience!

We kicked off our Fourth of July celebrations with hot dogs, delicious sides, and great company!

As you may have seen in one of our recent posts, we also held a Fourth of July Tree Competition. Congratulations to Katie Villines for winning with her festive tree! A big thank you to everyone who participated—every tree was creative, beautiful, and full of patriotic spirit.

Community is at the heart of everything we do at Rooney Insurance, and we are proud to recognize team members who make a difference through service and involvement.

One example is Jo McDaniel, our Employee Benefits Account Manager, who volunteered at the Cop Land Classic Bike Ride—one of Tulsa’s premier cycling events and the largest fundraiser supporting the Tulsa Police Officers’ Memorial. The event honors the 41 fallen officers of the Tulsa Police Department while raising funds to preserve their memory and support the memorial.

Jo has contributed her time to the Cop Land Classic annually since 2012, reflecting her longstanding commitment to its mission and to honoring the service and sacrifice of Tulsa police officers.

Her dedication embodies the values we appreciate most: community involvement, service, perseverance, and giving back.

We are pleased to recognize Jo as she took part in this meaningful fundraiser and helped support a cause that honored those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our community.

One example is David Truelock, one of our Personal Lines Account Executives, who runs Mission on Main Street (M.O.M.S.) with his wife, Melissa Truelock. Mission on Main Street is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving families experiencing food insecurity in the Collinsville, Oologah, Talala, and Vera communities. The organization provides nutritious food assistance through two monthly distribution days, as well as emergency assistance on an as-needed basis.
