Posting Bail by Phone is both convenient and easy. There are a variety of ways to pay for the bond; credit cards, Zelle, wired funds, bank deposit, or cash. This blog details how to wire funds when you want to pay the entire bail amount and premium fee with cash.

Bank wires are not instantaneous transactions. Wires take anywhere from a few minutes to 24-hours. Wires must be initiated Monday – Friday and completed before banks cut-off time in order to get to us the same day; generally before 4:00 or 5:00 pm Eastern Time. Be sure to ask the banker. Wires sent over the weekend won’t arrive until Monday.

BANK WIRE PROCEDURE
Tucson Bail Bonds™ will confirm the bail amount and charge information with the jail, before giving you a firm quote. Once we have confirmed the bail amount we will call you and provide you with a dollar amount to wire and email you a Bail Bond Agreement.

Sign and return the Agreement and wire the required funds. Upon receipt of the wire, which may take several hours, we will dispatch our agent to post the bail.

OBTAIN OUR WIRE INFORMATION
We will provide you with the following information before you go to the bank:

Our bank’s name
The branch location
The name on our account
Our account number
Our Routing number and
The total dollar amount you will be wiring.

GO TO YOUR BANK
Go to your bank and tell the banker that you want to wire funds: provide the banker with our information. The banker will fill out the wiring instructions, have you sign the instructions, and take your money. Please confirm the account and routing numbers on the instructions match everything with what we have provided you.

ONLINE TRANSFERS – WIRES vs ACH
If you bank online, you may have noticed that your bank offers online transfers of funds. Depending on the bank, it may offer Wires and/or Automated Clearing House transactions. Wires will go through within 24 hours, ACH transactions take 2-3 days. Also, be aware that all online transactions have maximum dollar limits, so you would want to be well versed with online transactions before initiating one.
