I volunteered at the Inaugural Korn Ferry Colonial Life Classic. This would have never happened if I had my regular w2 jobs. Even though I had tones of experience in social work, sales and operations, I would never have experienced the flexibility and financial freedom I get in my current role. It isn't easy and some days are difficult building a team, connecting with people and then seeing them leave but it's worth it for what I get in return. I work hard and earn what I'm worth and no one puts a price tag on my work. I get to be a support and I'm sowing seeds to find the right people who want to do this with me. The last couple of weeks I've had the opportunity to get out in the community and enjoy the arts. I love music and all the different types. It's so cool to be in a community that embraces the expression and creativity through music. I also just love connecting with friends, family, and getting to know other people. This is why we work in our careers so that we can experience all that life has to offer. This is why I work in insurance. To protect these moments.
