Satellites make UFO hunting hard...

🤯 14K SATELLITE TRAILS! 🛰️ (NOT AI!)

This is the most time-consuming photo edit I've EVER done!

I left my camera photographing the night sky over Mt Taranaki for nearly TWO HOURS, capturing 578 photographs.

The result? An estimated 14,450 satellite trail appearances, representing approximately 1,400 individual satellites! 😱

I manually masked in EVERY SINGLE TRAIL from the original photographs — approximately 45 HOURS of editing to create this one image!

🔦 Those tiny lights on the mountain are TWO mountaineers descending Mt Taranaki in the darkness over nearly two hours!

We had Mike Forest come and talk about the Buga sphere and Ojuelos de Jalisco stones. He brought a few stones to show and sell. People came up to me and told me this was the best meeting they had been to. There was a lot of inormation and slides. It was a new presentation for Mike, as he is always getting new data. We were at the Kettle Restaurant. I turned the layout around, did my best to cover the windows and make the door less noisy as it closed. It was way better than before. Also got to hang out with Mike for the rest of the weekend before he took his flight back home to Washington.

I'm totally behind on pictures. September's speaker Jeff Woolwine showed us his new collection of orb videos, discussed when we can see the orbs year long. Then he showed us his new ai video that took him months to make. On the Ai video he created visuals of the research he got at the Phoenix Library, about the Native American stories relating to the orbs and petroglyphs. Afterwards we went to Sabino canyon for a sky watch. We watched about an hour of orbs flying around.
