This is what mortgage rates have done in the last 5 days. I get asked on a regular basis "What are rates going to do?" Below is why I am very vague in my response. Anyone that tells you they exactly know what rates will do........

Mortgage rates in 2024 have been as low as 6.64% and high as 7.06%. This is a very narrow range. As of this morning rates have gone up for the last two days. Do not get your rate information from the new media or so called social media experts.

Here's what mortgage rates have done in the last 48 hours: the news media, social media "experts," and many mortgage lenders are struggling to keep up. Check the bottom of the chart—it shows 6 green dots and 18 red dots, indicating how many times rates have changed today. That's 6 improvements and 18 worsened rates. While the overall trend shows mortgage rates are improving, we experienced a significant dip and then reversed that change within just 48 hours. For the most accurate mortgage rate information, avoid relying on news or social media and consult with a mortgage professional who can provide real-time updates, like I can.

Don’t let a lack of down payment stop you from buying a 🏡

Shout out to Avery! 🎉🎉🎉

We just closed on Avery's first home. 🏘

Avery recently graduated college, received an offer letter for her first job, and saved up her down payment. 👏👏👏

Unfortunately Avery was told this was not enough, she just did not have the work history or her first pay check.😭
