Tucson Food Share needs new volunteers in anticipation of our summer slump! Food Stamps may be cut at the end of next week for OVER 42 MILLION PEOPLE. We fundamentally believe that everyone deserves access to food, and with the government shut down, we are anticipating higher volumes of people needing food in our community. We, like many mutual aide groups, are often the difference between someone having food or having to sacrifice paying a bill, or rent, to buy food.

Do you have an extra $20/month you could donate to us? We could give 2 families of 6, eggs for a whole month with that money! We could buy rice, flour, sugar, beans and salt for one family for that month too! Have any extra food laying around in your pantry that could be donated? Please consider us! You can bring to one of our distro days on Mon/Thurs and Sat. We are all volunteers here, so any deliveries to us would help us tremendously!
