Waiting for a better rate sounds like a strategy.
Sometimes it is.
But there’s another side of the equation buyers forget: if rates improve enough to bring you back into the market, they’re probably bringing a whole lot of other buyers back with you.
That can mean more competition, fewer seller concessions and less negotiating power.
We’re not saying buy now because rates might change.
We’re saying run the numbers now so you know what would actually make buying worth it for you.
Maybe that’s a certain payment.
Maybe it’s a seller credit.
Maybe it’s finding the right house at the right price.
The goal isn’t to perfectly time the market.
It’s to recognize when the opportunity in front of you makes sense.
