We have an immediate opening for a Personal Lines Account Executive. Our agency is growing and we want you to grow your career with us! We are looking to add a dynamic new member to our ever-expanding insurance team.
PERSONAL LINES ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
Job Summary:
The Personal Lines Account Executives will retain, manage, and grow a book of personal insurance accounts. You must be able to rate with major carriers on the carrier’s online rating system. Other responsibilities include, servicing the personal lines accounts by assisting customers in making coverage changes, informing and educating clients about policy coverage, and assisting them with their insurance needs. The Personal Lines Account Executive must be familiar with company underwriting and new business guidelines, knowledgeable in personal lines coverage, and must maintain an excellent rapport with clients and company underwriters. The Personal Lines Account Executive will round accounts and assist producers with new business production and will report to the Department Manager/Vice President and President.
Position Type:
Full Time, 40 hours per week with benefits. Position may evolve into semi-remote options with the ability to work from home one day per week. Salary will commensurate with experience and education.
Essential Functions:
- Retain, grow and manage a book of business.
- All aspects of account management including rating, endorsements, certificates and billing.
- Written and oral communication skills with both customer and company.
- Organization and time management with attention to detail.
- Superior work ethic and judgement.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well within a team.
- Analyze risk and provide insurance solutions to meet the needs of the client.
- Responsible for fact finding with respect to underwriting guidelines.
- Product knowledge.
- Cross sell and account rounding.

Qualifications/Requirements
- California Property & Casualty License.
- Minimum of 1 year insurance experience preferred.
- AMS360 experience is a plus.
