🌈🌎April is Earth Month, a perfect time to spotlight our charity partner, The in Memory of…Community Garden. 🌎💦

Barb and Joe are thrilled for 2024. They've begun work on their multicultural home, marking their 5th big project. They already manage a garden, park, and 2 orchards, among other endeavors.

Barb expressed gratitude for our support, saying, 'This will make this year and beyond so much better for the garden!'

Our donation is funding a watering system, replacing manual methods. This upgrade promises better water distribution, reduced waste, convenience, and healthier plants, saving time for exciting projects.

Excited for future volunteer events and seeing their progress!

Towne Team 🤩🤝😀 Forgotten Harvest!

On Friday, February 23rd, 17 volunteers from Towne headed to Forgotten Harvest’s Warehouse. They not only volunteered their time but also made a monetary donation.

The team, consisting of Lori Tersigni, Jeff Himelson, Melissa Adcock, Allison Barth, Ashley Matney, Leesa Elkins, Cash Elkins (Leesa's son), Andrea Mix, Andres Montilus (Andrea's son), Shannon Bendler, Judah Bendler (Shannon's son), Thomas Marshall, Tonya Watkins, Cephus Harris, David Taylor (Cephus' Father-in-Law), David Wheeler (Cephus' FIL), and Dawn Campbell Rivers, did an exceptional job! The day was filled with laughter and smiles while also being productive. They sorted, boxed, and sent food off to be delivered to nearby neighborhoods.

🤔 Did you know? Every $1 donated provides 4 meals, and every pound of food equals 1 meal.

With the assistance of other volunteers at Forgotten Harvest, the team filled 22 pallets, totaling a whopping 7607 pounds of food! 🙌

In total, Towne's donation provided over 28,000 meals in February! 🥳🎉

🌟✂️ Crafting Love for Young Hearts at Children's Hospital of Michigan! 💖👧👦

🎉 This Valentine's Day, we embarked on a heartwarming journey to spread love and joy to the incredible kids at Children's Hospital of Michigan both at their Troy and Detroit location. Together, we crafted special V-Day kits filled with all the materials needed to create their very own Valentine's Day cards the children’s special loved ones. 💕💌

A big shoutout to our HR team who complied the kits! Check out some photos of our V-day kits ready to go, and some of the cards that were made by the children.

🏠Community Housing Network is a nonprofit organization committed to providing homes for people in need through proven strategies of homelessness prevention, housing assistance and development, community education and referral, advocacy, and additional services. We carry out our work primarily in Southeast Michigan.

👏As of September 30, 2022, Community Housing Network assisted 3,514 households with eviction prevention and other housing crises!!!

🎁Community Housing Network has several ways to give back during the holiday season. Towne Mortgage Company will participate in their Adopt A Family holiday giving program this year, where we can make a difference by donating Holiday Gift Baskets to individuals and families new to their housing programs this year.
