When we opened our doors seven years ago, we uncovered a real hunger for more trust bank options.

Individuals and families choosing family members as trustees didn't realize that a professional trustee option like CU Trust could bring them great peace of mind.

Attorneys wanted to recommend the best trustee options to their clients—but knew that many trust banks had extremely high asset requirements that they wouldn't meet.

We changed all of that.

We started with a few employees working from borrowed office space at one of our credit union founders. Now, we have our own office in Troy, twice as many employees, and a professional presence working throughout the state—from St. Joseph to Midland, Alpena to Frankenmuth, and beyond.

We now get recurring referrals from attorneys and advisors who know that knowledge, professionalism, and responsiveness make the difference and deserve to be celebrated. That’s who we are. We don’t know how to be (and don’t want to be) anything else.

Which would you prefer for your trust account?
A. Bank conversion
B. Trust account transfer.

Yes, it would be nice to avoid both. It's just not always possible.
