What's new at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan
Beginning August 1, 2025, all new under 65 individual members will be defaulted to paperless billing. You will need to create their member account at bcbsm.com/register when they receive their ID cards to be able to view their bill in their member account.
Also starting August 1, current members will no longer receive a paper bill from Blue Cross for those enrolled in under 65 individual medical, vision and dental plans. The next plans that will transition to paperless billing will be Medicare Supplement. Be on the lookout for future communications.
As of now, this doesn’t apply to Medicare Advantage or PDP members. Some exclusions will apply:
•Pediatric only contracts
•Medicare Advantage dental plans
•On-market members with no APTC
