- Unlimited PIP (10% Rate reduction, Full MCCA Fee, Default Limit - Bodily Injury $250,000/$500,000)

- $500,000 Per Person PIP Limit (20% Rate Reduction, No MCCA Fee)

- $250,000 Per Person PIP Limit (35% Rate Reduction, No MCCA Fee)

- $50,000 Per Person PIP Limit (Medicaid Only, 45% Rate Reduction, No MCCA Fee)

- No Coverage PIP, No PIP Cost (Medicare A/B Only Household, No MCCA Fee)

New No-Fault Forms Released

DIFS Releases PIP Choice and Bodily Injury Liability Coverage Forms



The Department of Insurance and Financial Services (DIFS) just released the new mandatory forms for consumers to select their PIP Choice and Bodily Injury Liability coverage limits. Here is Bulletin 2019-24-INS.



What does this mean?



Bodily Injury Form

· Everyone must be offered the BI form on new business and every renewal.

· The form must be signed if the insured selects limits less than $250,000/$500,000.



PIP Choice Form

· Everyone must be offered the PIP selection form on new business and every renewal.

· If the insured does not make a selection (i.e. return the form), the policy will be issued with unlimited PIP coverage.
