Please note:
If you have experienced property damage and need to file a claim, we recommend that you, 1. File a claim(s) with your insurance carrier, THEN 2. Apply for assistance from FEMA.
Here is some information from FEMA you might find useful:
“FEMA may be able to help with serious needs, displacement, temporary lodging, basic home repair costs, personal property loss or other disaster-caused needs.
There are multiple ways to apply, you can go online and apply by clicking here (https://www.disasterassistance.gov/), downloading the FEMA App or call 800-621-3362 from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.
To view an accessible video on how to apply, visit Three Ways to Apply for FEMA Disaster Assistance - YouTube (https://youtu.be/LU7wzRjByhI?si=d_n4Zq_d2O8CzEU4). You will need the following information below when you apply:
-A current phone number where you can be contacted.

-Your Social Security number.
-A general list of damage and losses.
-Banking information if you choose direct deposit.
