Good afternoon,

We would like to let everyone know to be ever diligent about fraudsters and scammers. We have seen a recent uptick in attempts lately. These include, but are not limited to;

- Claims that someone is stealing money from you and you need to relocate accounts.

- Claims that you have been hacked and need to drain/relocate your accounts.

- Gift card scams. This is where someone is wanting to get money in exchange for gift cards, or vice versa.

- A person you know is in jail and they need bail money immediately.

- An individual claims to be a representative of a credible institution (IRS, Bank, Military, ect.) to obtain personal information.

- Bad Actors. An individual who gains access to a device (phone, computer, tablet, ect.) to obtain sensitive personal information.

These are a few examples of what we have seen. Please be very careful/cautions in sharing any of your personal information. Fraudsters/scammers are very smart, persistent, and convincing.

If you are ever in doubt of something, please call before sharing information and we will gladly provide our input on the legitimacy of requests.
