Wheat harvest season is here! Every year from mid-June through mid-July, Kansas fields transform from green to golden as one of the most iconic harvests in the country gets underway. Starting in south central Kansas and moving north and west, the harvest covers a state that produces about one-fifth of all the wheat grown in the United States.
