As families get ready for a new school year, we want to help make sure every student gets to and from school safely. Here are a few simple reminders to share with your kids before they head out:

Walking to school?
• Use sidewalks when available
• Cross only at crosswalks
• Make eye contact with drivers before stepping out
• Walk with a group when possible

Riding a bike?
• Wear a properly fitted helmet
• Ride with traffic on the right side of the road
• Stop fully before crossing
• Choose routes with lighter traffic

Taking the bus?
• Stand at least 6 feet back from the curb
• Wait for the bus to come to a complete stop

Cue the fireworks, fire up the grill, and get ready for what might be the most ambitious birthday cake of all time. 🎂

America turns 250 this year, which means 250 candles on the cake … so someone should probably alert the fire department.

However you’re celebrating the Fourth of July, we hope it’s filled with great food, good company, and a sky full of fireworks.
