Happy National Boss's Day! Our team wanted to take a minute to recognize our fantastic leader. Susan is truly the glue that holds us all together! We couldn't be more grateful and proud to be on her team.

Fun fact: Boss's Day can be traced back to 1958 when Patricia Bays Haroski decided to register the holiday with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. She chose October 16th as the day the holiday is observed because it was also her father's birthday. The holiday is especially meaningful because Patricia was an employee of State Farm!

Saturday morning, October 10th from 8am-10am, we are starting something simple — and maybe something we all need.
Coming to the Table is a free community breakfast moment built around one idea: slowing down long enough to sit with other people and share a meal.

No catch.

Just breakfast, conversation, and connection — made possible through you, the Community, and all the times you have paid forward a meal while ordering at our counter.

Our first free breakfast features The Table, a new Oakwood breakfast sandwich made just for this event.

Let's take a moment to put down the phones and talk to each other. The table has always been a place to come together - so let's remember how that feels in our own neighborhood.

It’s not about solving problems — just reconnecting with neighbors, friends, coworkers, and strangers who might otherwise pass by.
