So, Medicare Supplemental Plan N covers all of the same benefits as Plan G, except for the Medicare Part B deductible and excess charges. With Plan N, you may be responsible for paying a copayment for certain office visits and emergency room visits. Plan N typically has lower premiums than Plan G, but this can vary depending on your location and insurance provider. Plan G has higher premiums, with Plan G, you are responsible for paying the Medicare Part B deductible, which is $233 in 2022. With Plan N, you are responsible for paying a copayment of up to $20 for office visits and up to $50 for emergency room visits.
