Here are a few quick tips:

▪️ Check on your passwords. Do you have a different, complex password for each account? (Tip: Consider using a password manager to store your information so you only have to remember one password!)
▪️Turn on multi-factor authentication (MFA) wherever possible.
▪️Keep your devices up to date. Software updates often fix known security risks.
▪️Be wary of urgent requests for sensitive information, even if you trust the source. Scammers are using AI to imitate people you know or trust and can even replicate caller ID or create convincing voice messages.

Scammers are getting better at creating fake security alerts and urgent messages such as “Something’s Wrong with Your Account.” Before you move money or share information, ask yourself these questions:

▪️ Are they pressuring you to act immediately?
▪️ Are they asking for your PIN, password, or account number?
▪️ Are they instructing you to pay money or “keep your money safe” by moving it somewhere else?

Before you move money, hang up and call your bank using the number you trust (from a bank statement, card, or the bank’s official website).
