The AEP, or Medicare Annual Enrollment Period, is the annual time from October 15 to December 7 when people with Medicare can review and change their Medicare Advantage (Part C) or Part D prescription drug plans for coverage that starts January 1 of the next year. During this period, you can switch plans, join or drop a plan, or change between Original Medicare and a Medicare Advantage plan.
