When you're under financial stress and looking for relief, the fastest offer can feel like the right one. But it's worth comparing options to make sure the loan fits your situation and your goals.

asked our Chief Revenue Officer Matt Tomko what people should weigh when they choose a personal loan. His advice:

đź‘€ Look past the advertised starting rate and monthly payment. Use a loan payment calculator to understand the total cost.
⬇️ A lower monthly payment can give you real budget and cash flow flexibility, but it can also extend the repayment period and increase the total cost of borrowing.
đź’¬ Ask yourself whether the payment fits comfortably in your budget and still pays it down at a meaningful pace.

Short answer: we’re not a bank, and we’re not the lender.

Happy Money is a consumer finance company. We built The Payoff Loan™, a fixed-rate personal loan for paying down credit cards. The money itself comes from our lending partners, mostly community-focused credit unions.
So the funding comes from trusted financial institutions. The application, the rate check and the support come from us.

Loan amounts $5,000 to $50,000. Rates as low as 8.95% APR with autopay‡. Checking your rate is free and won’t impact your credit.
