My late husband lived with Parkinson’s disease for more than a decade. As his wife and caregiver, I experienced the challenges of caring for someone you love while working to cover household expenses.

That experience gave me a mission: to help families understand their finances and prepare for life’s uncertainties.

One thing I wanted to know was the lyrics of the song, because ‘words matter.’ This world was created by the Word of God.

The song Nene sang was ‘Seven Nation Army’ by The White Stripes, Jack and drummer Meg White. It talks about gossip and backstabbing by ‘so-called friends.’ Great song selection, Nene. Well done! Words matter, so the next time you open your mouth, be kind and positive!”

Happy Transformation and Thankful Tuesday, September 22!

Today, I’m celebrating our 16-year-old Thai-born rock star prodigy, NeNe Royal, who has become a finalist on America’s Got Talent!

I was never really a rock or heavy-metal music fan—until I watched NeNe perform on AGT. Her story is inspiring. Since she was ten years old, she has been producing both independent and local music. With the support of her father and several expatriate musicians living in Thailand, she continued developing her extraordinary talent.

Today, NeNe has become a phenomenon in the rock music world. Her performances have received more than 200 million views across social media and the official America’s Got Talent platforms.

What can we learn from her journey?

For me, it is a reminder to keep building people who genuinely love and care about others—people who are committed to serving families through the financial-services profession.

When you love what you do—just as NeNe Royal loves music—you can become successful, feel fulfilled, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Use the gifts God has given you. Develop them, share them, and let them become a blessing to the world.

For today’s Throwback Thursday, I’m remembering a story connected to 9/11.

When I worked for the City of Los Angeles, my former AGM boss told me her story of 9/11, an unforgettable day. Her office was near the Twin Towers, and she witnessed the chaos as the buildings collapsed and people ran for safety.

Afterward, she made a personal promise: she would never leave home for work without showing her family love and saying, “I love you.”

The events of 9/11 changed our world in many ways. They also led to greater attention being placed on financial systems, security, and the importance of preparing for the unexpected.

September is Life Insurance Awareness Month, making this a meaningful time to review how we protect the people we love. Life insurance is more than a financial product—it is “love insurance,” helping protect your family and the legacy you’re building.

สมัยที่วณีทำงานให้กับนครลอสแอนเจลิส อดีตหัวหน้าระดับ ผู้ช่วยผู้จัดการใหญ่ ของหน่วย Housing ของวณีได้เล่าประสบการณ์ของเธอจากเหตุการณ์ 9/11 ให้ฟังค่ะได้เล่าประสบการณ์จากวันที่ไม่มีใครลืม สำนักงานของเธออยู่ใกล้ตึกแฝด และเธอได้เห็นทั้งความโกลาหลและผู้คนที่วิ่งหนีเอาชีวิตรอด ขณะที่อาคารกำลังถล่มลงมา

หลังจากวันนั้น เธอตั้งใจกับตัวเองว่า จะไม่ออกจากบ้านไปทำงานโดยไม่ได้แสดงความรัก และบอกคนในครอบครัวว่า “ฉันรักคุณ”

Happy Wellness Wednesday! 💜

Since September is Life Insurance Awareness Month, I would like to combine today’s wellness message with an important reminder about planning ahead.

A few days ago, one of my dear friends sent me a video about the emotional and mental health of family caregivers who care for elderly loved ones with dementia.

My friend has already lost several close relatives to complications from Alzheimer’s disease. Today, her mother lives with her and has a caregiver—but my friend still carries much of the responsibility.

Her mother, once loving and strong, has changed so much that she sometimes seems unrecognizable. My friend often feels overwhelmed and frustrated when her mother asks the same questions repeatedly throughout the day.

This is why planning ahead matters. Certain life insurance policies with long-term care benefits may help provide resources for respite care or additional caregiving support. This can ease some of the burden and allow family members to rest, recharge, and continue caring for their loved ones with patience and compassion.

Caregivers need care, too. 💜

Hello, my lovelies!

Have you ever received the heartbreaking news that a loved one or dear friend has passed away? I have—several times.

This morning, I received a message from a Thai friend whose relative had just lost the battle with stage-four cancer. I had barely awakened, so at first, I could only offer my heartfelt condolences. Later, I reached out again to ask whether there was anything I could do to help the family prepare for the funeral.
