🎶 “Don’t Tell Your Dreams” — LOVIXX & STOSLIV

The message of the song is essentially this: Be careful who you share your dreams with—sometimes it’s better to work quietly and let your success speak for itself.

I agree with these Ukrainian rappers to some extent. But I would add this: we can also choose to surround ourselves with people who genuinely want to see us succeed—and who find joy in collaborating, growing, and winning together.

For me, it starts with shared values: love, goodwill toward others, and a heart for serving people. Sometimes it also takes vulnerability—the willingness to share our own experiences so we can identify with and better understand the people we hope to serve.

I’m blessed to have a few friends like that, and one of them is .hurn. 💜

Next Saturday, we’re coming together at her office for an event called RISE, where we’ll connect with friends and families, share business opportunities, and provide financial literacy education. It’s about learning, growing, collaborating, and helping one another RISE! 🌱🚀

Life Happens: Revisiting Liquidity & Emergency Funds! 💰☔️

The topic of emergency funds never seems to go out of style—and for good reason! Life happens, and unexpected expenses have a way of showing up when we least expect them.

Along with my dislike of carrying long-term consumer debt, I believe in maintaining enough liquidity to handle emergencies without having to rely heavily on credit cards or sell long-term investments at the wrong time.

Liquidity can come from different sources. It may be money set aside in savings or money-market-type accounts that can be accessed without significant market loss. For those who have properly structured permanent life insurance, it may also include available accumulated cash value, subject to the terms, costs, and conditions of the policy.

And sometimes, building liquidity starts with simple everyday choices—consistently setting aside money instead of spending it on things we don’t really need. That $8 tea or coffee every day can add up! ☕️💵

With the cost of living continuing to rise, unexpected expenses can become even more expensive. That’s why developing consistent saving habits and maintaining accessible emergency funds are important parts of a strong financial foundation.

Life happens. Be prepared before it happens.

Financial Freedom Friday! 💜

Life happens! Right now, my faithful StellaBright needs attention for three different issues. With a long-distance retreat coming up in a few weeks and several appointments over the next few days, these unexpected repairs will require some extra dollars.

Moments like these remind me why one of the most important pillars of financial freedom—along with increasing your income and managing your expenses—is having an emergency fund.

An emergency fund should be liquid and easily accessible when life throws you the unexpected. Financial experts generally recommend saving 3–6 months of living expenses. However, in today’s uncertain economy, especially for those facing the possibility of layoffs or career transitions, having up to 12 months of expenses saved can provide greater peace of mind while searching for the next opportunity.

One thing an emergency fund should not be is a credit card. If you can’t pay off the balance by the due date, high interest charges can quickly snowball, making a difficult situation even more stressful.

So take action today to prepare for those “rainy days.” And when unexpected expenses arise, it’s also wise to look for additional streams of income. It may not be easy at first, but becoming financially literate, taking consistent action, surrounding yourself with people who encourage your growth, and remaining coachable can help you build not only the skills for success, but also the capacity to sustain it.

🧠 Brain Health & Wellness Wednesday! 8/5/26

A couple of days ago, a lady from my Thai church told me about an upcoming seminar on Alzheimer’s disease at the LA Thai Adventist Church. The speaker will be a Thai neurologist who is also a pastor—a combination that immediately caught my attention!

As a holistic financial professional, I’m fascinated by how the brain works—including my own! 🧠😊 Good brain health is one of our greatest assets. It allows us to keep learning, growing, serving others, and pursuing our God-given purpose.

Yesterday was a perfect example. I had the opportunity to attend another inspiring “In The Room” event hosted by . Our featured speaker was my trademark attorney, , who has been proactive in helping me protect the WaneeBee brand. I’m grateful to be surrounded by so many amazing women entrepreneurs—my BooSisters—who genuinely encourage and support one another.

The learning didn’t stop there! In the evening, I joined our Dream Nation training with Team Leader .dlc (“JustWin”). We wrapped up the night with a powerful challenge from our leadership to pursue excellence and give our best in the Top Gun Competition.

Reaching Top Gun takes grit, discipline, physical energy, endurance, and yes—brainpower to stay focused on the mission. As the leader of my own WaneeBee DreamWeaver Team, I want to stay in top condition physically, mentally, spiritually, and professionally so I can lead by example.

I’m still looking for five more people who are ready to grow, expand their capacity, and commit to making a difference—one family at a time.

Last Friday of July 2026!

Today was a busy work-from-home day as I continued recovering from yesterday’s long drive to and from Los Angeles. It was well worth the trip because I was able to donate gently used (and some brand-new) clothing to my church in Hollywood for the Compassion Shower Ministry, serving our unhoused neighbors.

Our church is designated by the City of Los Angeles as a community Hub, where people can find resources, housing information, winter shelter assistance, and other support services. While I was there, I also had the opportunity to attend a Thai outreach Bible study and fellowship gathering nearby. It was a day of serving, connecting, and planting seeds of hope.

As July comes to an end, not every goal I set has been fully realized yet. My journey toward achieving Top Gun status by the end of October continues. Sometimes we don’t see the results of our efforts immediately, especially when our work is about helping others build their dreams, grow personally, and achieve financial security. Those kinds of victories don’t happen overnight—they are built over time.

I’ve learned that success is a long game. It requires commitment, consistency, resilience, and relentless perseverance.

I’m especially grateful for good health and the energy to keep moving forward. I’ve also learned that taking time to laugh, finding moments of humor, and intentionally pressing pause are just as important as working hard. Balance helps us stay strong for the journey ahead.

Annual Check-Up! 🩺📊

Half of 2026 is already behind us! Just as we rely on annual check-ups and lab tests to measure our health, it’s important to review the data in our own lives and compare it with the goals we’ve set. Are we moving in the right direction?

Our progress shouldn’t depend on our moods or changing circumstances. Instead, it should be built on solid systems and daily habits. If I allowed every market fluctuation or political headline to dictate my emotions, my day would already be off track!

Thankfully, I’ve learned to focus on what I can control: exercising regularly, preparing healthy meals, making meaningful phone calls, and staying connected with people—whether they are in my warm market or my cold market.

I’ve also learned that genuine curiosity about others and a willingness to truly listen to their hopes, concerns, and needs are habits that build lasting relationships and ultimately lead to success.

So today, focus on what you can control, and leave the impossible to God. Trust that He is always with you, guiding your steps and working behind the scenes for your good.

A Milestone Transformation Tuesday 💛🧡

Today was a day filled with both reflection and anticipation.

We gathered to celebrate the life of Uncle Tony—our beloved “Godfather” and the legendary “Override King,” someone many of us aspire to emulate through his leadership, generosity, and lasting legacy. It was an emotional reunion with leaders and friends from different seasons of life and business, reminding me how blessed I am to be surrounded by people who inspire me to grow.

The celebration was heartfelt and joyful, with everyone invited to wear bright, colorful clothing—especially orange, Uncle Tony’s favorite color—a beautiful tribute to a life that touched so many.

After the service, it was time to prepare for the week ahead. I stocked my refrigerator with fresh fruits and vegetables and packed healthy snacks for our upcoming Annual Convention in Las Vegas, where more than 20,000 people will gather to learn, grow, and dream bigger together.

As I prepared, I also thought about the importance of being ready for life’s unexpected moments. Just as we prepare for a trip, we should also prepare financially by building an emergency fund for those “rainy day” seasons that inevitably come.

The day ended with an inspiring Zoom meeting with our Dream Nation and Legacy leaders, sharing practical tips on preparing for Convention—physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Grateful for today, excited for Convention, and ready to take massive action toward my goals for the second half of 2026.

Here’s to living with purpose, serving others, and continuing to grow.

Happy Mindset Monday! 📚✨

Today we kicked off a new Book of the Month at our Mindset Monday Zoom meeting: Never Eat Alone: And Other Secrets to Success, One Relationship at a Time by Keith Ferrazzi.

The timing couldn’t have been better. Just this past weekend, I attended a foodie gathering with members of LACEAAA, and about a month ago we enjoyed another outing in San Pedro Harbor. We picked up some of the most delicious sandwiches from Bumblebee Restaurant and had a picnic together at the beautiful Korean Friendship Bell. It was more than just a meal—it was an opportunity to connect, listen, laugh, and learn about one another’s journeys.

One of the biggest lessons I took away from today’s discussion is that relationships are built through genuine generosity—giving without keeping score or expecting anything in return. That principle really resonated with me.

Bob Reyes also mentioned how this idea complements another wonderful book, Give and Take by Adam Grant, which explores the power of knowing when to give, receive, and help others thrive. I’m looking forward to reading it as well.

As someone who believes in lifelong learning, I’m excited to internalize the principles from Never Eat Alone: building authentic relationships, developing your personal brand, expanding your network, and most importantly, being in the room with people whose values and purpose align with yours. That’s one of the reasons I love being part of the Boo Sisters community through my HeyBoo Women Entrepreneur Empowerment Group.

Today I’m sharing the “eating together” portion of our LACEAAA outing because sometimes the most meaningful conversations and opportunities begin around a table.
