Sarah and her husband, both Topeka Natives, own and operate a local food truck and catering business here in Topeka. CRYPTO ATM SCAMS ARE ON THE RISE.

Red Flags:

Someone claims to be your bank, law enforcement, a government agency, or a utility company and asks you to use a crypto ATM.

You are told to act immediately, keep the transaction a secret, or lie to your bank or others about the transaction.

You are asked to pay fees, taxes, fines, bail, or protect your account by sending cryptocurrency.

An online acquaintance, investment promoter, or romantic contact asks you to deposit money into a crypto ATM.

Remember that legitimate organizations do not accept payment through cryptocurrency ATMs.

Congratulations to Josie on 1 year with Kaw Valley Bank!

Josie is one of our Tellers while also pursuing a degree at Washburn University. Her favorite part of working at KVB is the relationships she has built with both customers and coworkers, as well as the opportunity to help people everyday.

During her spare time you can find Josie taking photos, enjoying the outdoors, and spending time playing and watching sports with her family and friends.
