Several phone calls about scammers calling Medicare recipients.
Scam #1: Medicare is NOT sending out new cards or plastic ID cards. You will receive your card and the only way to get another one is to request it. MEDICARE WILL NEVER CALL YOU UNLESS YOU REQUEST A CALL!

Scam #2: This is the open enrollment period for Medicare Advantage and you can switch from one Medicare Advantage to another one time. Scammers are telling everyone that they are eligible for a debit card, someone to pay their utilities, and free groceries. There are many strings attached to that offer and 99.99% don't qualify due to zip code and income level. Do NOT fall for this one! If it sounds too good to be true, it's most likely a scam.
