Yesterday, Yolanda Sims, JD, MHA, KAMMCO’s Loss Prevention and Risk Management Advisor, joined Linda Habibi, JD, at the national American Society for Health Care Risk Management (ASHRM) conference in Phoenix, Arizona, to present “To End or Not to End: A Risk Professional’s Guide to Navigating Provider-Patient Terminations.”

The session brought together more than 200 healthcare risk professionals to discuss the challenges and risks involved when a provider-patient relationship comes to an end.

This marks the second consecutive year Yolanda has presented at ASHRM, reflecting her commitment to helping healthcare professionals navigate complex risk-management issues and put practical strategies into action.

Yolanda brings that same expertise back to KAMMCO’s members across Kansas, helping them identify and address risks, strengthen their practices, and navigate challenging situations with greater confidence. We’re proud to have her on the KAMMCO team and to see her expertise recognized on a national stage.
