Sometimes the best planning conversations don't happen in an office.

One of our clients put it perfectly on a recent hike with Kyle and Joseph: If you fixate on the summit the whole way up, you'll exhaust yourself mentally, emotionally, and physically long before you get there. The better approach is charting your course, checking in on it occasionally, and focusing most of your energy on the next step in front of you.

That's true of mountains. It's also true of investing through uncertainty, such as AI, market shifts, or whatever the "summit" feels like this year. Fixating on the top of the mountain doesn't get you there any faster. Wise, steady steps do.
