Owner David Anderson brings a practical, problem-solving mindset to the industry. With a degree in engineering and nine years of experience in the power industry, David understands systems, efficiency, and—most importantly—how to identify what’s not working. While health insurance wasn’t his original passion, helping small business owners navigate a broken system is.
After seeing the challenges businesses face trying to provide quality benefits while managing rising costs, David made the decision to step into the insurance space with after learning from his ranching mentor Matt Marple.
At Herdsman’s Insurance, the focus is on self-funded health plans—a model that gives employers transparency and control over their healthcare spending. Instead of paying into a system with little visibility, self-funded insurance allows business owners to see exactly where their dollars are going. From there, smarter decisions can be made to reduce costs and improve outcomes for both employers and employees.
