Hello, potential clients. I want to play a game. 👀

For years, you’ve neglected your scalp. You’ve ignored the buildup, skipped the self-care, and convinced yourself that dry shampoo was a lifestyle.

But your time has come.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to stop putting off the self-care your scalp deserves.

Relaxation. Scalp cleansing. A little pampering. A whole lot of TLC.

The rules are simple:

BOOK THE JIGSPA… OR KEEP LIVING ON THE EDGE. 🔪

Your scalp deserves better. And lucky for you, we’re accepting new victims— I mean, clients.

📍 Come see us at Heidi Smith Hair & Scalp Spa!

😱🌲 THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT: SALON EDITION 🌲😱

There are some things in the salon industry that are just downright TERRIFYING… 👻

Ghosts? Nope. 👻
Creepy noises in the woods? Nah. 🌲
Someone whispering… “Can you thin my hair out?” 😳💀

AAAAHHHH!!! 😱😂

When you spend your days helping people achieve fuller, healthier hair, those words hit a little differently! 🤣

We may have taken our love for hair a little too far with this one… but hey, it’s spooky season, and apparently THIS is our horror movie! 🎬✂️

🎓 HAIR SCHOOL WITH HEIDI — GLP-1 EDITION

Does a GLP-1 actually cause hair loss? 🤔 Not exactly.

For many people, the bigger issue is what’s happening to the body while taking it — especially rapid weight loss, eating fewer calories, lower protein or nutrient intake, and the physical stress of a major body change.

That stress can push more hairs than usual into the resting/shedding phase, causing a temporary type of shedding called telogen effluvium. And here’s the tricky part… you may not notice the shedding until a few months after the trigger. 😳

So if you’re taking a GLP-1 and suddenly seeing WAY more hair in your brush or shower, don’t automatically blame the medication itself. Your hair may be responding to the changes happening inside your body.

💡 Healthy hair starts with understanding WHY it’s shedding.

Watch today’s Hair School with Heidi and let’s talk GLP-1s, weight loss and your hair. 🧬🩷

PRODUCT OF THE WEEK ✨
This week we’re talking about one of my favorites for anyone concerned about thinning, shedding, or just wanting to give their scalp and hair a little extra love — SEVEN Haircare OPTI! 🌱

What makes OPTI so cool is what’s inside it. Procapil® + Capixyl™ work to support the follicle, help strengthen the hair’s anchoring system, and support a healthy hair-growth cycle. Procapil also contains ingredients that target the pathway involved with DHT, which can contribute to follicle miniaturization in certain types of hair loss.

The OPTI Serum also contains sodium hyaluronate to help hydrate the scalp and Agreynist®, an ingredient designed to support melanin production and help maintain the appearance of your natural hair pigment as you age. 🤯

And fun fact — OPTI Conditioner was a 2024 CEW Beauty Awards Finalist! 🏆

Healthy hair really does start at the root. 🌱
Come see me and we can talk about what your scalp and hair actually need.

This one is SO fun. 🤎🖤✨

Calico hair is all about bold contrast, unexpected placement, and letting each color have its own moment. I mixed rich brunette, deep black, warm copper, and pops of blonde to create a look that changes depending on which way the hair moves.

No perfectly blended, play-it-safe color here. 😏 Each section was intentionally placed so the colors stay defined instead of melting into one another—and I’m obsessed with how it turned out.

A little edgy. A little rebellious. And definitely not boring. 🤘🔥
