Why a Public Adjuster?
When you submit a claim, you have to deal with a very experienced insurance company adjuster who is thoroughly trained in all aspects of minimizing your damage. Keep in mind that it is the homeowner’s responsibility to point out the damage, not the insurance company’s adjuster’s job. Company adjusters minimize your damage by encouraging cost savings methods.

A Public Adjustment is your best line of defense. Don’t accept less than what you are entitled to! I will get you the highest possible settlement for all your insurance claims. Whether your property is residential, commercial, or a vacation property, A Public Adjustment will negotiate the maximum settlement possible.

WHAT IS A PUBLIC ADJUSTER?
A public adjuster is an insurance claim adjuster who advocates for the Policyholder during first party insurance claims. Public Insurance Adjusters are the only professional, besides an Attorney or “broker of record”, that may legally represent Policyholders. Public Adjusters in the State of New Jersey are licensed by the New Jersey State Department of Banking and Insurance.

Typically, and specifically permitted under State Law, Public Adjusters get paid on a contingency basis, allowing Policyholders to retain representation without a fee until Insurance benefits are received.

There are three classes of insurance claims adjusters in the State of New Jersey:

Company Adjuster – is employed by the Insurance Company to represent the company in dealing with your loss and damages. The Company Adjusters main responsibility if to protect the interests of the Insurance Company.

Independent Adjuster – is hired by the Insurance Company to represent the company in dealing with your loss and damages. The Independent Adjusters main responsibility is to protect the interests of the Insurance Company. Despite their confusing title, Independent Adjusters are simply “independent contractors” to the Insurance Companies; they are not independent nor disinterested when it comes to adjusting a policyholder’s claim.

Public Adjuster – a Public Adjuster is the only insurance professional specifically licensed by the New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance to serve as a “consumer advocate”, to represent you and only you during an Insurance Claim. The Public Adjusters main responsibility is to protect you and your interests in claims against a loss with the Insurance Company.
