🚨 MONTGOMERY COUNTY RESPONSE 🚨

Montgomery County deputies and multiple law enforcement agencies responded Saturday to an active shooter situation in the Kings Colony neighborhood.

According to reports, two people suffered minor, non-life-threatening injuries, including a 17-year-old. The suspect, a 60-year-old man, barricaded himself inside a residence before surrendering to SWAT officers.

By approximately 7:30 p.m., the suspect was in custody and the scene was secured.

TMPA recognizes the quick response and coordination of Montgomery County law enforcement, whose actions helped bring a dangerous situation under control.

From our families to yours, we extend our warmest wishes for a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with great food, good company, and plenty of joy.

Today we remember the lives tragically lost on September 11, 2001. Like me, you probably remember exactly where you were that day.

We join with you in remember those lost that day, but more importantly, we remember and are grateful for the freedoms we enjoy as citizens of the United States. May God continue to bless us as a nation, and may He bless your family.

May we never forget those who have paid the ultimate price.
