Well, I don't know about you all, but I found it thoroughly frustrating to be stuck on the ice, sitting in the intersection, just 15 ft from my driveway and not able to get there!!!! I called a tow truck and they told me they weren't sure if they could do anything for me until the sand trucks get out. I even had sand in the trunk for extra weight but couldn't get to it because I couldn't stand on the ice good enough to lift the 70 lb. sand bag out of the trunk. I skated in the house to find a little bit of ice melt, put it down near the tires and waited for it to melt enough ice so I could get just a little traction. It worked and just in time to allow another vehicle to get through the intersection I was blocking. That was quite a winter ice storm last night, but this IS Wisconsin and Minnesota!!! I'm looking forward too the January thaw now!
