Our office is currently without power. We will post when our systems are online and ready to help with the aftermath of the hurricane. A few things to bear in mind:

-As much as possible, wait to speak with someone from our office before filing a claim so we can advise you on how to proceed to make the repair process as painless as possible.

-As long as there is no immediate threat to safety/habitation, it is best to get an estimate to know whether it is worth it to file.

-Due to the scope of the hurricane, claims will take longer to handle. Please be patient with your claims representatives as many of them have the same claims you have.

-Mitigate further damage as best you can.

-Beware of contractors who are going door to door. Do not sign anything and do not give them money. When possible use a local business who is invested in the community and cares about their reputation (and whose office you can visit if there’s an issue.)

-Keep all receipts in the event you need to file a claim so you can submit them for reimbursement.

-Take pictures (safely) of any damage before mitigation/repair efforts are started for documentation purposes.

👋🏼 Meet our new Team Member, Carter Ware!

Carter has recently joined our team at Vanminos Insurance as a Personal Lines Representative. His goal is to help each and every client understand the importance of insurance, and the value that it can have in their life! 🎯

🐴 Carter has two horses, and has recently started raising Holland Lop rabbits. He really enjoys working with livestock and learning about the different industries. His family and Carter have lived in Toccoa his whole life. His parents are Jeremy and Jessica Ware, and he has two younger siblings, Grant and Lily. His family is extremely important to him and they are always having a good time. Whether it is going on a road trip or out to eat, they always keep things interesting!

👱🏼‍♂️Carter says, “I am so grateful to have been given an opportunity to learn and grow here at VanMinos. I am excited to build relationships with clients, and help keep them protected to the best of my ability. I have not been at this Agency long, but it already feels like home!”
