Mikki has called Portland home since she was a tween, with family roots in Progreso, Texas. Her family spent years following the crops through Texas, California, Washington, Idaho, and Oregon before planting roots in the Willamette Valley — a journey shaped by migrant farm-worker grit, community, and heart. Bilingual and bicultural, Mikki brings warmth, humor, and a grounded approach to helping clients feel informed, confident, and cared for on the path to homeownership.

When she’s not guiding clients toward home, Mikki is usually chasing fresh air, kayaking, dabbling in Pilates, tackling a home project, or dreaming up her next travel adventure. She’s a proud mom of two cool adults and believes life is best lived with curiosity, connection, and a little sense of wonder.

After retiring from a career in corrections, Erika settled in Washington State and quickly embraced all the Pacific Northwest has to offer. Though she enjoys drives along Puget Sound's inlets looking for whales, balmy evenings at the Vancouver Waterfront are a particular favorite.

Erika is a member of an intertribal Native drumming group and enjoys the sense of connection, culture, and community it brings. When she's not working, you'll likely find her cooking with her husband and son or relaxing in her garden with their dogs.

Since she has always been passionate about social justice and believes in creating opportunities that help people thrive, Erika is especially excited to work for a company dedicated to making homeownership more accessible for underserved communities. Helping people build a place to call home and invest in their future is a mission that closely aligns with the values she carries both personally and professionally.
