Please meet, Ana!

Anavelia Pineda, a first‑generation Mexican‑American from the Pacific Northwest, is the daughter of immigrant parents from Michoacán who worked the fields before settling in Oregon. For twelve years she devoted herself to raising her three children as a full‑time stay‑at‑home mom.

As her family grew, she returned to work part‑time while caring for her aging parents. She has spent several years as an elderly caregiver—a role she still holds—while managing life with three teenagers and supporting her father, who now lives with her family.

Her experience as a tax preparer eventually led her to Mortgage Café NW, where she and her husband were clients in 2017 and again in 2024. She joined the team later that year, bringing empathy, firsthand understanding, and patient guidance to clients, especially first‑time homebuyers. As a bilingual professional, she proudly supports those who feel more comfortable in Spanish.

At her core, Anavelia is a caretaker. When she finds quiet moments, she loves gardening, nature, growing her own food, and dreaming of her next beach trip to collect seashells.
