Going to meet with those that have completed the online License to Carry class and need range safety and proficiency. If you have completed the online class and are looking for the fi****ms portion I will be hosting the class on Saturday, May 13th at 9 AM. The fee is $50, you will need eye and ear protection, a handgun, and 50 rounds of ammunition. A .22 may be used for the proficiency portion as well. If you are interested send me an email ([email protected]) and attach your LTC-101 you should have received from the online provider.

Had a couple today that had done the online class but needed the range safety and proficiency portion. We finished range safety and had started the proficiency when I noticed their grandson, a well mannered child was standing back looking bored. After we finished the proficiency I asked him if he ever shot fi****ms, he replied he had. I asked if he wanted to try a machine gun, his smile said it all. I tossed him a 30 round mag and a 20 round box of ammo and told him to load it up. After a couple of rounds on semi I moved it to auto. The young man was hell on trigger discipline and worked perfect 3 and 4 round bursts.

Facebook, this is required training to obtain a state-issued license to carry, I am not selling fi****ms or ammunition.

Putting together an LTC class on the 19th (Sunday) of March 2023. If you would like to attend send an email to [email protected] with LTC 03192023 in the subject line. Include your full name, driver license number, best contact number and best email address in the email. Do not send your date of birth or address as it is not required.
The classes start at 10 am and we are usually off the range by 5 pm. The course fee is $70 due on the morning of the class and can be paid by cash or check.
These classes are composed of 4 to 6 hours of classroom instruction and a 25 question state exam. We then move to the range where the student shoots a simple qualification course consisting of 50 rounds onto a standard B-27 target. The course includes 20 rounds fired from 3 yards, 20 rounds fired from 7 yards and 10 rounds fired from 15 yards. Everything inside of the 8 ring counts as 5 points, 7 ring is 4 points and anywhere else on the silhouette is 3 points.
As far as equipment all that is needed is your handgun, 50 rounds of factory ammunition, eye protection, ear protection, identification and a writing instrument. Gather your friends, family, neighborhood folks, relatives or church group and get signed up.
The license to carry allows you to carry your handgun on or about your person in areas that are not prohibited by law.
Classes are held in Thrall and the range is just a short drive out of the city.
