Humana, the parent company of CenterWell released the following statement concerning the health care issue

“CenterWell Senior Primary Care has been engaged in discussions with United Healthcare to retain The Villages Health as a participating network provider for patients in The Villages with United Healthcare health plans. Discussions are ongoing, and we continue to work in good faith toward an agreement. UHC health plans will be accepted at The Villages Health through December 31, 2025. If no agreement is reached, TVH will be unable to accept UHC plans starting January 1, 2026.”

Representatives say updates to next year's health plans will have to be made before Dec. 7, or during open enrollment, which will open January through March of next year.

The Annual Enrollment is once again coming up!
Where did the time go?? It seems every year goes faster than the one before!
I hope everyone had a nice summer. It still feel like summer to me!
There is going to be lots of changes this year! We won't know the specifics of the plans until Oct 1st. What we do know is that some plans are going to be terminated. You will get a "notice of change" towards the end of September, letting you know what the changes to your plan are going to be. If you're plan is going to be terminated, they are not going to transfer you to another plan automatically. You will have Original Medicare only. It is important that you contact me, so we can see what other plans are available for you.

Helping you with your insurance needs has been a true blessing to me! Many of you have been with me since I started in 2008. That's 17 years ago! The Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) has officially started! It was a busy day today, but a time of the year that I always look forward to. It's time to get together with friends we haven't seen in a while and time to make new friends!

Good morning! As I look outside my window this morning and block out all the branches, debris, overturned chairs, lack of power, etc., I see a beautiful sunny day, filled with God's wonderful promises! I'm so thankful that the Lord shielded us and kept us safe throughout the storm. I pray for those who have lost so much. My heart and prayers are with you. As many of you know, I lost my home, my car, and everything during Hurricane Andrew back in August 1992. I know what it feels like. I pray that the Lord will give you the strength, comfort, and courage to continue. You are not alone. God Bless!
