Growth....
What does this word mean to you?
To some it may mean personal growth and to others it can mean team. Both play a role in becoming successful as a life insurance sales professional.
If you would like to take advantage of all the ways you should be earning as a life insurance sales professional then self growth and team growth are nesaccary.
Personal growth is needed to provide the members of your team the right path to their own success. But personal growth starts with you. What books are you reading, what audio do you listen to, what videos are you watching?
I see myself growing every time I walk out of church on Sunday, when I am reading the right books, when I study the people who influence me and when I take massive action which sometimes does lead to failure. However I have learned that failure is an enormous part if my growth and success.
Failure is something we must not fear and we must learn to face regularly. Being out of our comfort zone hands us the success we seek. By not staying in our comfort zone we travel the path others will not travel.
What is growth? Taking the road less traveled. Participating in growth of self will eventually lead a team of sales agents of which truly understand the road less traveled and lead them to their own success. Being fearless who doing so with a real understanding of I am a life insurance sales rep who will fail. However every time I fail I actually succeed.
Now that's knowledge you better rap yourself in and use!
Just writing this takes me outside of my comfort zone. I am choosing to write this to help myself over come my fear of posting on a more personal level and getting people to understand themselves at the same time. Just possibly this post may help someone grow 🙏.
What is your uncomfortable place that creates the success you so long for daily? How do you stay in this uncomfortable place and enjoy it? Your growth depends upon staying outside your comfort zone.
Growth inside a team to me starts with its leader. If the leader is not growing themselves the team will not grow as it should or could. Leaders must face their fears and stay outside their comfort zone to grow self and team.
Growth in a team has many functions to it. One is the function of a team learning from the mistakes of their leader and not repeating those mistakes. Growth can Come from a strong willing leader who has witnessed failure and educates his or her life reps on that subject not allowing their agents to travel that road. If they must travel that path they travel with the education from their leader who hands them the tools of which provide the right strategies of which avoid total failure.
Agents must also be willing to fail on their own but must have a leader who understands their team/agents will fail and explain this before it happens.
Many successful life agents failed themselves right out of this career because their leader wasn't fully grown to explain the failures agents face. Once you understand what your going to face then failing becomes easier on you and growth begins to take place.
Many failures are great for you to face on your own. No show at homes. What does this mean?
Means the agent did not solicit the call well enough to make sure the prospect(s) wrote the time and date down. (Get prospects to tell you the date and time over the phone before hanging up!) Solicit the calls we'll and never have another no show again.
No appointments usually means lack of resources or leads. Could also mean the agent does not have enough experience on the phones and having the incorrect or wrong scripts, objection and rebuttal sheets that set appointments is vital to your growth. Fixing this is simple.
Order leads weekly and fail forward!!! (Make sure you try a few scripts or blend a few scripts that create sits which lead to sales and your Growth!)
